The 100 Question Purity Test
Kerry:
You Are 47% Pure
You're not so innocent... in fact, you're quite unpure.
You have seen and experienced a lot. And you're no worse for the wear!

Some of those questions were... interesting. I wonder, though, why is having a gay friend considered an "impurity"?

Hmmm, I was also concerned about the gay questions, Barb. For example, why would it be impure to come out? Do you think I should ask David to delete this one? ??? :-\
ednbarby:
Maybe. It's a shame it's so homophobic in that sense. Makes me want to see if Blogthings keeps it around or not.
Don't feel bad for posting it, though - I love taking these quizzes, myself. I think even the quintessential "Purity Test" online has some bi-sexual type questions - e.g., have you gotten drunk and made out with a member of the same sex even though you're straight? - type stuff.
Most of the people who concoct these quizzes are teenagers or 20-somethings with a lot of time on their hands, I think. Still, it's a sad commentary on our culture, really, that homophobia is still so socially acceptable. Really, Blogthings is just reflection, sad as it is, of that.
David In Indy:
Okay. I know I'm just an ignorant country boy from Indiana, but what does it mean when it asks "Have you sharted?"
I didn't understand that. ???
You Are 63% Pure
You're pretty pure, and you have no plans on changing that.
You do have a devilish side though... and it will probably get the better of you.
