I love 'em all, but this is one of my all time, extra special favourites!

I love all of those you posted Kerry, but the yellow raincoat pic is also one of my favorites. And the one where Ennis cleans the coffeepot in a creek, and the tying knots all day one, and ........ I'll end up posting all screencaps with Ennis in them

That is very true. This pic, however, is from the movie and for me will always and forever represent that which is quintessentially Ennis. I love this pic. Whenever I look at it, I can always hear Heath's deep, husky voice asking, "What?"

I love that photo too.It ceases completely to be Heath and is 100% Ennis.I have been looking at some of his other films and he always manages to become the character.
It is nothing to do with costume and make up and all down to his expressions and voice.It is the biggest travesty of all that he did not get an oscar.

We took your advice, Chrissi!  John, Jenny and I met for brunch this morning at Spring Street Natural, just around the corner from Heath's old digs.  Yummy, cheap(ish) food, nice atmosphere, and a bonafide Heath haunt.  It was great to catch up with Jenny, who broke the news that she's probably moving to Hawaii this summer.  How about we have the next BBQ on the beach at Waikiki?   

We were belatedly celebrating Jenny's and my birthdays, and happily, today is John's birthday!  It's a gorgeous, sunny spring day here.  After brunch, we hung out by Heath's front door a bit before going our separate ways.  Hugs to all Heathens!
