I've read that in sleep, we are seeking to gain order and meaning from the random events of the day. That is what's clearly happening in these dreams that you've had. It must be comforting to know that your parents are still guiding you from the spirit world, if it only exists in our memories or if it is something more substantial.

I have thought that, indeed, my trousers might become too large if I lose anymore weight.)

That would be a good thing, wouldn't it, after the excesses of the holidays? I know it would be okay with me if I had to go down a size in trousers. Most of the ones I buy these days have some stretch in them anyway. Even jeans have some stretch. I must wear a belt with my trousers or they start to slip down as I go about my daily chores. I miss the days when trousers used to go up to the waist.

I sure had a weird one last night. It was like I was watching some old-fashioned swashbuckler movie. There was a woman being held prisoner in a secret room presumably in a castle. The only way in and out of the room was through a secret door in a stone wall. There were no windows in the room, and it was only illuminated by torches. Then I could hear two male voices speaking; one asked the other what they would do with the woman if they had to leave, and the other said they would just leave her in the room. Then I was thinking about what it would be like, to be locked in the room, and the torches would go out, and it would be like being buried alive. I woke up actually feeling afraid.

Oh, that's an unsettling dream.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!
