Lynne... a lot of the real Van came through in this one... not the yelling, I think that's pure Luke, but there were a few times where it was more of a Van moment than a Luke moment (listen to the intonation, you can hear it I think).
This episode was chock-full of whats known as "soapy goodness" - which is the occasional brilliant combination of good writing with beautiful acting that can be found in daytime dramas. Granted, these moments are few and far between, but in a way, they need to be to provide that refreshing blast of cool air in a desert of monotony.

Aargh! Thank you very much, Daniel. I will go back and re-watch this one...I'm just now seeing your note. I was caught up through the end of last week.
Speaking of acting chops, I wonder if there are any clips of Wes Ramsey from his soap days? I think it would be fun to see a few of them. There's a scene in LD's when he's speaking with Lila - he turns to leave her office, then turns back to her - I think it's after Lila takes the call from the hospital and Christian asks her if there's anything wrong - that seems to stand up and wave 'daytime drama maneuver!!' to me. (Sorry, that's snarky, and you know I *love* him regardless!)

These are parts of a Lily and Holden Drama (Luke's parents) that apparently Luke will be involved in shortly. Holden had an affair with his brother's ex-wife, Carly, that may make things emotionally difficult for the rest of the Snyder family.

For those of you who are wondering, the Lily and Holden Drama really have nothing at all to do with Luke and Noah, however, it is likely that parts of this storyline will be important when Luke and Noah return to the scene.
