As the World Turns - Luke and Noah (Videos)
Lynne:
Just posting to bump this so I can find it tomorrow. I 'm liking loving Van Hansis' work here, but really hating the story line.

On a side note, Puberty (the nick name for the relationship between Parker and Liberty (14 and 16, although Parker has been tried as an adult)), is developing rather... "disgustingly"? There are bets over who will get to the main event first: Puberty or Nuke. Based on current trends, odds are 4 to 1 in favor of Puberty. (Since I don't watch the whole show, they may have already done it. I do know that apparently on today's episode Puberty beat Nuke's kiss tally.)
P.S. Don't blame me for the Puberty nick name, I wanted to call them Liberty Park.
Daniel:
Hmm, yes Parker and Liberty have indeed had sex before Luke and Noah.... a late teenage gay relationship that's been going on for almost a year was trumped by the sexual impulses of a 16-year old and her determination to bed a 15-year old after knowing him for about a month. Poor Mick Hazen (Actor for Parker - he's genuinely 15 years old and from the few times I've met him, seems more interested in playing (paintball, baseball, basketball - maybe anything that ends with "ball") than acting out a mature relationship. Liberty's actress is a very young 21.) But in either case, Thursday's episode has gone down in infamy.
The soap magazines are questioning why, of course. Other relationships were built up over at least a few weeks, especially the ones that have hinted at familial inappropriateness or incest, which is fortunately missing from the Luke and Noah relationship. This one seems almost like it was on the fast track. Which is incredible, considering how most relationships on soap operas are treated slowly. There is some indication to believe that this storyline may have been written to appease right wing-conservative thinkers who have been harassing Proctor & Gamble and As The World Turns for their "gay storyline".
For more on that, just post a reply.
Lynne:
"She's not my happy ending. You are."
I like that writing.
