I've heard of the double yolk thing happening, but never seen it.

Buy "jumbo" eggs. That's what I've been doing, and I've had several double-yolk eggs over the past few months.

And where I shop, the store-brand "jumbo" eggs are less expensive than smaller, "name-brand" eggs.

I only buy free range eggs and usually at the Farmers Market so I can be sure they are free range, I do not trust supermarkets to label accurately. I have had a double yolker this year. I only eat 2 eggs each week, usually on Sunday night. I vary from scrambled, omelette and fried, very rarely boiled.

I usually only get 'large' eggs, I'll have to check the sizes and prices.

I always have to laugh at that phrase, "free range eggs." It brings to mind images of eggs wandering about aimlessly on two little legs.  

Obviously, it's the chickens that are free range, not the eggs.

Many many years ago, my husband worked on a turkey farm while on leave from the navy....he often bought home turkey eggs, and most were triple yolk eggs and some had four yolks......

Hello Bettermost friends!

I hope everyone had a great weekend?

Mine was busy!  I went shopping on Friday night after work, Saturday I cleaned the whole apartment, dusted, scrubbed, mopped, vacuumed, it's all done!  After lunch I had two birthday parties to go to, so I was very tired on Saturday night.

Sunday was laundry day and a visit with the family.

The picture posted today is for my activities tonight.  It's my friend's 40th birthday today, and his wife made reservations for a Japanese Hibachi place called "Imperial 46" here in NJ, so I'll be there for dinner.

Had fun last night at Mike's 40th birthday party, we went to Imperial 46, a Japanese Hibachi type place.   Very good food, and it was great to catch up with everyone again.

Oh, I have a headache today!  Isn't that fun? 

Thankfully it's a mild one, and I'll just pop some pills and ignore it.

So, how is everyone this fine Wednesday?  Things seem to be going on track while Maria is away, and I'm staying on top of everything.

Yaaaaaaaaaay!

Slow weekend ahead for me, so I can get some rest, and mild cleaning done on the apartment.  I do plan to do some shopping, two folding tables and seat cushins for my folding chairs.
