So much for computers LESSENING paper work eh?
I used to work as a Loans Officer for a credit union, and the paperwork was unbelievble.
Not only the pages and pages of contract, but then another piece of paper signed to say that this has been explained, another piece of paper signed to say that you have sighted that piece of paper. Then a copy for the husband and a copy for the wife and a copy for someone else.
At least now all the copies can be printed on a computer.
I remember many more years ago I was in the same kind of job for a finance company, before computers and printers, and we used to type up all those copies of contracts in a typewriter, with carbon paper between each copy. If we made a typing error we used white out on each copy, some of them were a bloody mess.
