Matt Dillon's first movie.  An IMDb user sums up the feeling about this film:  "The next time someone tells you that "The Breakfast Club" is the greatest teen movie ever, show them this movie and set them straight."

I have to say, I've always seen a little bit of Heath in Matt Dillon and his career.

I had completely forgotten about this movie until I stumbled on it on IMDb, then I remembered it. Nice and depressing, it is about a girl dying of cancer. Marsha Mason plays her oncologist.

From Wallywood:
Synopsis:
It's the night before Christmas, and all toy store rejects are due to be tossed into the furnace. This includes Quincy, a most lifelike doll. In a last ditch effort to save himself and his "unwanted" chums from incineration, Quincy goes on a long and perilous journey in search of the only one who can save them: Santa Claus.

Star Trek: The Motion Picture is the first feature film based on the Star Trek science fiction television series and is often referred to as ST:TMP or TMP.

The third science fiction film directed by multiple Academy Award-winning director (and Citizen Kane editor) Robert Wise, Star Trek: The Motion Picture revitalised the Star Trek franchise, spawning ten motion picture sequels.

Wildcard "X" is Agatha

Great movie!  I passed on Apocalypse Now, Alien and The Champ for this.

IMDb Synopsis:  In real life, mystery writer Agatha Christie disappeared for 11 days in December 1926. To this day, no one knows the details of what she did during that time. The film gives a fictional account of Christie's time away, showing her as a woman fleeing her own life after the death of her mother and the announcement from her husband that he is leaving her. She flees to a spa in Harrogate. With the whole country looking for her, an American reporter finds her and ultimately tries to help her.

Damn, I just HAVE to share this screencap from the Champ  :'(
