In the episode the character's name was "Rick", and "Rick" was a gay man.
In real life, the actor who played the part is Brian McNamara. He's a straight man, and currently on the TV show "Army Wives".

I admiire strait men that will play gay characters. They definately have bigger balls than those that refuse.

Do not forget that gay men have to HAVE much bigger balls?? !!
Gay men have to do so... like to play straights even if the actor is a gay man!! Think about Cary Grant! But he could not even when he was sick say that he was a gay person! And others could not neither. Many were murdered in Hollywood because they were gay men. Many are unsolved murders! So, a gay man who is in Hollywood and is an actor, must have bigger balls to play a gay role??

Ariste, I agree with you but I must apologize to the ladies. I should have used a more polite term for the ladies present like "testosterone resevoirs" instead of bigger balls. I tend ta be too very colorful in my language sometimes. I also like the points in yer post.
