Dave Cullen is really stirring up some good stuff here.  He wants to run an ad in <possibly> Variety to address the OSCAR snub for Brokeback Mountain.

Where have I been?  I had no inkling of this ad campaign, and am ready to send my donation.  In fact I've been wondering intermittently what I could actually DO to make my voice heard beyond this forum on behalf of Brokeback and all the rest of us.  And here's my answer.  Clearly I need to spend more hours of my day on these boards, so as not to miss important info like this.  LOL.  Iris  (Did a quick check of sources for Variety in my area, and there are none!  What's a girl to do?  Can you order a copy somewhere?  HELP!!)

They had not put in Gustavo's name in the previous drafts.  He's in this one and let's not quibble over him being called "GUS"  HE'S in there...that's the MAIN thing!!

Let's ALL send emails from this list of Addresses!!  I, for one, am going to hit every single one with my OWN opinions.  This campagin is gathering steam!!  Let's all keep fueling it!!

As for pre-ordering Variety....I'm not sure!!  Does anyone know how this can be done?
