Oh yes, definitely, and walking under a ladder is bad luck too in case nobody has mentioned that yet.

No offense to cat owners please! My mother told me to keep the cat away from the
baby because if it sleep on the baby, the baby would smother to death!

Yes, I have heard that one too. Supposedly it had something to do with that a cat would jump in the crib and suck all of the air out of the baby. The thing is I have no idea why a cat would want to do that.

Umbrellas had a bad rap at my house. When we went shopping downtown on a rainy
day my mother told me be very careful because a lot of people get there eyes poked out
because of all the umbrellas.
