I just had to repost this photo.   It is the road in Montana that brings you to Lightning Flat, Wyoming just over the state line.   It is from a set of pictures that you can see thru the thread "On the Road to Lightning Flat".    Well worth the look.

Front Ranger started the thread and Meryl posted a link to this guys Live Journal page that gives a full description of his trip to Lightning Flat.  And the pictures will blow your mind!

This is the first pic of the series.  I was literally crying at the beauty of it all.

Actually, Phillip started that topic. Yup, that's the territory...I'm planning to go back there at the end of this month after Bay City. Snow should be gone by then, maybe.
