Congratulations, Chrissi!   :) :)  Nice to see you're getting such a warm response and welcome here.

This is my 1100th post, so I figured I'd stop by here for that. And also, it feels right to post somewhere that I intend to watch BBM for the first time in 5 months tonight. I'm actually a little nervous about it, strange as that may sound. Guess I'm afraid that it won't have the impact it once did - and equally afraid it'll be just as devastating as ever. Because in my current mood that kind of devastation should just about floor me once and for all. However, in despite of the AMPAS I *have* to do this. So it's time to get the DVD player going....

Quite a lot of weather reporting seems to go on on this thread, so I'm sure meteorological updates from Germany would be welcomed!  ;D For the record, it's at least been dry here in the SW UK after torrential rain yesterday so I could go out for a nice walk after going stir-crazy in the flat yesterday.

Man, am I spitting nails again that there's no terrestrial TV coverage of the Oscars in the UK. I nearly cried when I discovered I wouldn't get to watch it last year, and I'm mad as hell again this year!  >:(
