It was a good day today.    I was sent to a very quiet work post.   Normally when a station is finished for the day, we call a Supervisor to come do the paperwork and lock up the station.     I surprised the Supervisor on duty by doing all his paperwork and locking up the station.   This way when he came by I just handed him the paperwork and keys.    I then moved on to my next post.

While there I observed a verbal altercation between an Airlines ticket agent and a belligerent passenger who was being sent away because he admitted that he  was stoned on Angel Dust.     I asked the agent if she wanted me to radio for a State Police Officer to come by for assistance.    They are armed, I am not.    LOL.

She said no as the passenger finally left.    I told her not to hesitate to flag any of us down for assistance next time.    Well 30 minutes later, the same guy came back and was heading for the Security checkpoint.    I told the crew at my station that I was going to follow him and see what he was up to.

He presented his earlier ticket to the airports ticket checker (not a TSA person) and he was let in.     Seeing this I jumped into action and entered Thru a side access door and alerted the State Police Officer on duty.     He and another State Police Officer thanked me and quickly moved in on the guy and grabbed him.

I patted myself on the back and went back to work.      Unfortunately the Supervisors and Management will not even give me a thankyou or "job well done" as they feel that is not our job.

I had a great time eating jpwagoneer1964's fish tacos, they were so delicious! It was sad to realize that the last visiting Brokie will be heading back home from the BBQ today! But we hope to see him back here real soon, and if the Army tries to get him, we won't let it happen!
