Well, I opted for the fried coke instead.  I also had fried pickles.  My friend had fried reese's peanut butter cups.  The next thing I would opt to try would be fried peanut butter and jelly. 

Do you know what funnel cakes taste like?  My fried coke was basically funnel cake in a cup with coke syrup drizzled over top... a little bit of a let down actually, but I loved the fried pickles!  My friend said the fried reese's cup tasted like reese's cup wrapped in funnel cake...  (In case anyone is wondering, the fried pickles are fried in a different type of batter than the sweet stuff.)

My, it sounds like an orgy of fried food! It's probably good for your arteries that you only go to the state fair once a year....

I actually think I would like fried pickles. I'd like to try that someday. As for fried Reese's cups, all I can say is...why mess with perfection?
