Jeff, your avatar makes me think of Alberta and the Rockyford Rodeo. The cowboys from the organising committee all wore pick shirts and their motto was 'tough 'nough to wear pink' It was in aid of a breastcancer charity.

Yeehaw, how cool is that!  :D That's actually kinda why I picked this particular photo for October (I was a few days late changing to it.  ::) ).  My mother was a breast cancer survivor (it was something else that killed her).

That is a great picture from Alberta and a Wonderful Cause. That must have been a great trip. I wonder if I would have left my mind there too  :)

And, Jeff, I am very sorry to hear about your mother. I did not know about that. Did that happen recently

Morning all,

58 degrees today. It was like summer yesterday...high of 78! I was driving around with the convertible top down. It was great!

Another unseasonably warm day with the temp at 52 right now. Rain is in the forecast.

David,

Good to have you back! Supposedly Jake was there canoodling with Reese Witherspoon....

What did Jane Fonda look like in person?

Can't wait to see more pictures. That's a beautiful view of Florence!

Hugs,

Welcome home, David!  :D

I see while I was gone Jeff climbed on top of me.     ::)

N-o-o-o-o comment.  ;D

I will say that the Double Tree has great beds.    My room had a king sized bed with a pillow top mattress and comfy quilted blankets.

Interesting to hear. I know the Double Tree in Denver, where we stayed at the end of the barbecue/Wyoming road trip at Memorial Day, had beds that were just heavenly!
