Sad news about her cousin, though. My sympathies are with you David.

It feels like spring today. The temperature is already 48 and it is supposed to get up to the low 60s today. Maybe I can put the top down on the car for the drive home!!

The German wikipedia has the submarine Thresher as Todays Featured Article. Today it's exactly 45 years ago that it sunk.

Two years gone by and still reminders of BBM everywhere .....


And a special hoot for FRiend Lee!  :-*
Because the Thresher makes me not only think of our boys, but also of our discussion about it.

I was reading a retrospective issue of Life Magazine about the 1960s the other day, and so disappointed when The Thresher was not mentioned!!
