Morning all,

36 degrees here this morning and another nice day is in store for us. I have started wearing sandals without socks!

People around here do that too! I'll see them walking around in sub freezing temperatures with shorts on and no jacket!

And some people here seem to enjoy swimming in the lakes and rivers during the dead of winter. And then they get pneumonia. And then they wonder why the rest of us don't want to do it. I'm not jumping in that icy shit!

Red would have been too matchy, so he wore the black. 

Too matchy - hearkens us back to the cowboy etiquette thread, of course.  Speaking of which, I believe it would be white gloves for moving after Memorial Day and before Labor Day.  Better to be too matchy than tacky!

I also had a nice Heath moment with a stranger recently:  I was in the locker room at the gym, and a young woman was reading the People magazine article about Heath.  "Isn't that the saddest thing?" I said.  "Totally, and he was only 28."  We both even knew how old he was.

Morning all,

35 degrees right now but lots of blue sky and I suspect it will warm up nicely once again. Nothing special planned for this weekend. I am looking forward to taking it easy.

Morning all,

50 degrees this morning but not much blue sky today.

Hier, my brother and I... we all went to his daughter's place and it was at her area  terribly hot when we set up tent and a bbq around noon !!

But it got so cold that afternoon,  that we had to add our jackets on !!

Winter is still fighting while Spring wants to spring our joys!!
