I had an adventure today! There's a helium balloon set up in Central Park for a month, offering 10 minute rides for $25, so a friend and I went early this morning to try it out. The balloon is anchored to the ground, but it goes up about as high as a 30-story building and is wafted around a bit. Only four people can squeeze in the little basket at a time. I hope the balloon is still there when I go to NY in October! But somehow I doubt it. They should adopt that attraction in other places...like for instance Ten Sleep, Wyoming! Wouldn't it be nice to view Brokenback from a balloon??
