Showery rain and some wind here this morning. No temp. report. Too preoccupied with preparing to leave town tomorrow for the holiday. I forgot to check the temp. report. Probably in the 40s, though.

I take a personal day, because the later in the day you wait to travel, the more unpleasant it gets.

All of the trains I could take are booked solid. I've been looking into seeing if could get an earlier train home on Sunday (like I did last year and forgot when I booked this year's reservations  :( ), but even the return trains on Sunday are booked solid.

Fabienne - I'm glad you guys made it home okay!  I don't mind driving in snow so much, but slip slidey driving definitely sucks (i.e. the ice underneath).

Good morning, all!

Temp. presently 40 F here and sunny.

Because I take the whole day off the day before Thanksgiving, this is almost the only Wednesday in the year that I get to sleep late in my own bed.  :laugh:

I'll be leaving for the train station a little after noon. I'm packed, and all caught up in my household chores, so when I return home Sunday evening I can just relax for one last evening before the Christmas season madness begins.

Anybody else see Beyonce on the Today show this morning, in that black body suit and come-f*ck-me boots?  :o  :laugh:
