...I wore boots with good tread, expecting bad walking conditions, but every sidewalk I had to use to get to work this morning was bare and dry.  :-\

I did that too, and felt foolish when I got to work and it was practically sandals weather. Fortunately, I have a tote bag under my desk with about 8-9 different pairs of shoes in it  ::)

I wonder if that has any meaning or implications for Taureans?  ???  Probably not, I guess.  :-\

Wikipedia says that an ox can be any bovine that's trained as a "draught animal" that is, for hauling stuff. Sound like you friend? An ox could be a water buffalo, eland, buffalo, bison, antelope, or a bos taurean, cow or bull. The typical oxen is a castrated male, but cows and fertile males (bulls) are used in many parts of the world too!

Wow, I seem to know a lot of Taureans...EDelMar, Offline Chuck, Jeff, Amanda...Taureans are a special breed that's for sure!!

I haven't talked to either of them in a long time Milli. I think a few members here are staying in touch with them, but I'm not certain who they are. I miss them. I wish they would come back.

That's a beautiful picture in your sig line, btw.. :D

Cheers David.   :-*

I'm leaving the office at noon today to go visit my dad for the weekend.  :)

David, I wish we would get a snowstorm like that. I need an excuse to stay hunkered down at home for a few days.  ;D

Have a great visit with your dad, Jeff!! Yeah, I'd like a blizzard to come along too! One a those 40-posts in one day blizzards! But...could BetterMost handle it??

Good morning. It's 27 F in Philadelphia this morning, and sunny but also kind of hazy.

I'm leaving the office at noon today to go visit my dad for the weekend.  :)

Well, you might just get your wish, Jeff. There is another winter storm getting organized right now! As we speak! :P

They said it will be moving into Indiana on Monday with possible blizzard conditions. So, maybe Tuesday or Wednesday for Pennsylvania? Should I keep my fingers crossed for you Jeff? I'm not sure the people in Philly want all that snow! God knows we don't need any more of it around here! >:(

This is what my Dad's back yard looks like right now...

Yeah, that's weird looking, isn't it? I have no idea what's under there. With a little imagination it might even look obscene!

Oh, I'm sure no one around here would have that kind of imagination, David.

I wouldn't be too sure about that Meryl! A few of my friends have started calling those bumps "snow penises"!

Anyway, I went out there yesterday and cleared off the right hand side of the picnic table (you can see the table in the top picture) and put some corn there for the squirrels. They've been busy eating it all day long. I'll try to take a picture of them for all of you. There is so much snow out there (we received over a foot) and the smaller animals cannot find any food right now. They are extremely hungry. :(

Well, now the birds are there! I put some bird food out there as well. Anyway, sorry about the glare, but if I open the door they will fly away.

It looks like the squirrels have eaten all their corn, or most of it anyway. I'll go back out there once the birds are finished eating and put some more corn on the table for them. :)
