Good morning. It was 26 F when I left home this morning. According to the local TV news, the region actually got more snow last night than was predicted, 4--6 inches instead of 1--3. It appeared there were about 2 inches of snow accumulated on the railings of my apartment balconies. The trees in the city looked very pretty this morning.  :D

Good morning! Temp. is 17 F in Philadelphia this morning. At least it's sunny.

This morning it is easy to understand why our ancestors spent the entire summer and fall cutting and stacking firewood when they weren't tending crops.

What is harder to understand is how our much more distant ancestors managed, but, hey, all of us here today had ancestors who survived the Ice Age--unless, of course, our ancestors were dropped off by the Mother Ship more recently than that.  ;D
