How to contribute to sending flowers/condolences to Australia

(1/109) > >>

mvansand76:
Is there any way we can get the Bettermostians' gathered condolences out to Heath's family?

Last edit:  We have donated $1,350.13 Australian Dollars to the David Wirrpanda Foundation in Heath's memory, as of April 21, 2008.  Thanks so much, Brokies!  Go here to see their thank-you note.

Edit:  Here is the current plan.   We will be sending flowers to the funeral as well as putting a notice in the West Australian expressing our condolences.

BBM-Cat:
Wouldn't it be great and meaningful to post a page or a half-page condolence from Bettermostians in the AU local paper ?

Lynne:
This is a very good idea.  Do any Aussie's know which paper would be the most appropriate?

Phillip Dampier:
Some of our Australian members may be able to help.  Keep in mind Heath's family is now in NYC.

Brown Eyes:
I think some kind of acknowledgement to the family is a great idea.  It could even be a privately sent card or letter.  Or maybe a published condolensce in addition to a privately sent card/letter.  From our whole community I mean.
