Hah! I'm so bad. But the character is--the worst! Awful! She would revert and worm her way back and work on Cody as she worked on Zach. Stay far away!
On the other hand, I think the actress herself, Tina Holmes, is terrific--and quite the opposite from her role as 'Jeanne'--look:

Yeah, I think it's a pretty safe bet that Allen isn't going to turn out to be Jeanne's dream man :-\ - but I think the problems with Jeanne go far beyond the fact that Allen didn't like kids. Some people are not meant to be parents, and with or without a loser boyfriend, Jeanne is one of those people. So she may come back from Oregon faster than she expects, but I just can't see her actively seeking to take Cody back on her own and assume all the responsibilities that would entail. I get the impression she'd just as soon let Zach and Shaun do the hard stuff and she'd do the taking out for ice cream, quick trip to McDonald's type of stuff.
