Earthquake in China

(1/1)

injest:
Man, that is a horrible situation. Have ya'll been watching? They say the earthquake lasted more than three minutes. TENS of thousands dead and missing. and they havent' even GOTTEN to some of the areas...

ZK:
Its a real tragedy, those poor kids in the schools that collapsed, I can't imagine the anguish of their parents.

delalluvia:
It is a disaster of monumental proportions and the aftershocks are still to come and OMG, the dams are under threat now!!!

I do like that the Chinese media are being allowed to air news of it 24/7.  Normally the govt, tends to limit public exposure to such horrific events, but I guess since the net news is so ubiquitous these days, they can't stop it, so allowed it.

ZK:
I just saw this, I think this is most eyrie (if thats correct word) photo (1) I have ever seen. So sad

I wouldn't call them "eerie".  IMO, the wedding pictures are artistically/philosophically brilliant, especially as they are genuine.  I feel for the couples, but they shouldn't take the earthquake at this time in their lives as a bad omen and instead consider it a blessing that they survived as so many of their fellow countrymen did not.
