ok...4 seconds in when you say 'camera'....you say c-a-m-e-r-a going up slightly at the end (each letter distinct)....I would say cam-erah with the empahsis on the 'cam' (cam one sound and erah another)
if that makes any sense...
more?? (I really dont' want to offend you, I hope I havent)

You know what would be fun? If we all read a segment of a poem or something so we could all hear the difference in the accents!!

It's funny all this talk of diction.One of the things my 2 youngest have to learn as part of language arts,is not only the spelling,definition,whether it is noun etc, but where the stress is in each word.I cannot help at all with that part, as the stress part of the word is totally different in America cf England.
A very simple example that bugs me is Oregano, here the stress is on reg. in England it is on gan.

Ok.....pick a segment of the book, and we can all do a video reading the same part.....
Now..so we wont spend a week deciding on which part of the book, I am going to take the initiative, and pick out something......

Everyone got that......hopefullly it will only take a week for us all to get them in......should be fun.....
