EEK! those things ARE agressive...but better than Africanized bees!!! thats for sure
Make sure there is no garbage or open water around....I dont know if you will be able to find their nest but be careful trying to kill it!
they have sprays that let you stand a pretty good distance out to spray them....get one of those.

Yellowjackets and wasps too! I was attacked by several of them a few weeks ago. I got stung on my neck and one even snuck in my shoe and stung me on the bottom of my foot when I was pulling my shoe off.
And the yellowjackets are chasing the birds away from my hummingbird feeders! Yes, they are AWFUL here.

We have had an odd year on the south west coast of Florida. Hardly any love bugs, last year was horrendous,there were days you simply could not venture outside.Not many wasps,dragon flies or even the disgusting palmeto bugs.
We do however seem to have had many more snakes, and have been plagued with ants and enormous moths.It is curious how the years can be so different.

Yellow Jackets are not bees, and do not collect pollen or produce honey.
