with an episode called:

We get to find out what happened to Sara in that dreadful car accident.

That wasn't an accident, that was staged by the Miniature Killer.
I'm guessing, since I've seen previews that show Jorja Fox appearing in this episode, that she settled her contractual differences and so they aren't killing off Sara. :-\
