We're here.. kinda..

I'm just not a soccer fan, you know? But I love it when my country kicks some international butt, so
 GO BOYS!!!!!!!
And minorly peeved that my dad (who will watch ANYTHING provided there are more than 3 people per team and they have matching uniforms...) kept me up LATE the night the game was on by his random "YES!" and "kick the ball!!!!!" cries..

Pipedream:

Our man of the day: Oliver Neuville. What a relieve!   :P

Got him a hug from Michael Ballack...  :)

Whoohoo!  :D

Yeah, Ecuador. That is going to be quite a task. And I don't really know whom to cheer for. Those people are so nice!  :)

This week I had the wonderful opportunity to talk to some journalists from Ecuador who are staying with their national team in Bad Kissingen right now. They are so happy there, it's amazing. They love it!

I just figured out how to post audio files, and I thought I should share this. Here's two of the guys I interviewed. One of them works for "Canal Uno", a big television company in Ecuador and the other for a monthly Ecuadorian sports magazine and the news agency "Reuters." The quality isn't quite what it was on the original recording, but I had to make a compromise in order to be able to upload longer sound bites...
Enjoy!

 :)
