Yesterday's dinner was hamburgers, sausage and peppers, pasta salad, corn on the cob and assorted desserts.

Tell him when l come up to him and ask to play the record, l'm gonna say: ''Voulez-vous jouer ce disque?''
'Voulez-vous, will you kiss my dick?'
Will you play my record? One-track mind!

Who knew?  NPR tackled the "Taylor Ham" vs "pork roll" debate!

http://www.npr.org/sections/thesalt/2016/06/02/480397636/new-jerseyans-chew-over-what-to-call-their-favorite-pork-product

How odd. And yet Chuck found images of what appears to be two different packagings.  ???

That "ham" packaging must be an antique.

Since I expect to spend today quietly alone, I've planned my own sort-of indoor Fourth of July picnic.

When I went to farmers' market on Friday, my go-to guy for tomatoes from my home county had the first sweet corn of the season, so I bought two ears of corn (75 cents an ear!  :o ). I also have baked lima beans, potato salad, and a couple of hot dogs (which I will eat without buns). And ice cream for dessert!  :D

sounds sorta like what I did for Monika when she was here last year, 4th of July.

I took her to Dallas BBQ and she had a hot dog, baked beans, corn on the cob.

Since I'm taking a vacation day today, I fixed myself a nice brunch of two eggs "over easy," turkey sausage, whole-wheat toast, and coffee. And one of the eggs had a double yolk!  :D

I think I'm going to have baked beans on toast, with a salad, this evening.
