Any Libraries needing Brokeback?

(1/3) > >>

Marge_Innavera:
I'd like some suggestions from anyone knowing of a library -- public or school library -- that might be interested in a DVD copy of BBM as a donation.  Was in Wal-Mart yesterday and noticed that they had several copies for $9.00 each.

Any suggestions?

Front-Ranger:
I noticed that the Ten Sleep, Wyoming, library did not have it last time I was there, and I don't think the Casper (home of Dick Cheney) library has it either. It's a crying shame.

Marge_Innavera:
Thanks, Lee! It would be great to donate a copy to a Wyoming library.

I'll pick up at least one copy tomorrow morning, and get busy contacting them.

Marge_Innavera:
Good news!  The Ten Sleep library didn't have a copy and said they'd be happy to add Brokeback to their collection.  I sent the DVD off yesterday via Priority Mail.

I consider this an extra-special bit of Christmas shopping -- being able to send the movie out to a place so closely associated with BBM.

serious crayons:
Very nice idea, Marge!
