We (Jon & I) had our Civil Partnership on 5th December last year, it took nearly a year of planning.  We could have just had a quiet do,  but no, this is a huge event in my life so all friends and family were invited.  It was such an amazing day full of so much happiness and emotion.

We had a little bit of a dilema when it came to 'where are we going to get married' in such that I work, and lived for many years in Plymouth, and Jon was in Truro,  we had friends from the 2 cities to consider.  So to save any arguments we thought somewhere in the middle would be the best option.  Bude in North Cornwall was where the service took place and followed by the reception in a small village called Marhamchurch. We had a sit down 3 course meal for about 50 people, and a buffet for 150 in the evening, with a Video Jockey (bit like a DJ but with images as well), and a huge chocolate fountain.  Plenty to eat and drink.   :P :P
Most people stayed over night as well and joined us for breakfast in the morning....Full English of course.

Its a day we certainly won't be forgetting.
