No, Lakota, sorry.  Please translate.

Hau Lynne.  ///  Hi Lynne.

Hecheto welo!  ///  Sounds good!  (literally, "it is good" (or well), or "it is done well")

Mayugo, le mita kola.  /// I'm tired, my friend.

Nahan rei ni wayon heon!   ///  I'll be okay though. (literally: "I will still be alive")

Cikala Lakota wowaglake, btw??  /// Do you speak any Lakota? (literally: "Do you speak a little Lakota")

I probably should have added: Was'te! /// "Greetings", or "See you later"

But like I said, I was tired!

I bet you didn't expect an entire Lakota lesson, did you?

Sorry about that!

I don't remember. haha.

It could have been bourbon, it could have been rum
Or that cheap wine that always makes me act dumb.

What ever it was, I must have liked it a lot,
Cause I drank it all down and passed out on a cot.

No I didn't really. I don't remember what it was. Probably bourbon and coke, but who knows for sure.

Thanks!  :)

Kelda, I was a poet and didn't know it.

A Hoosier bard. Who would have ever thought?    ;)

Well ya'll, we have a major ice storm heading towards Indianapolis. They said we may receive up to three inches of solid ice by Monday morning. So, I ran to the grocery today and stocked up on milk, bread, eggs, COFFEE, and other things. It sounds as if I might be trapped in my house for a few days. My room mate is handling all the wood, because we are going to keep a fire burning in the fireplace. Often times we lose our power during these storms. The ice coats the power lines and snaps them.

To add insult to injury, our beloved Indianapolis Colts are expected to lose their game tomorrow against Baltimore. *sniff!*  If they lose, they will be finished for the year. So everyone here in town is keeping their fingers crossed for a win Saturday afternoon.

Soooooo if you don't see my ass on here Sunday, Monday or Tuesday, you'll know what probably happened. It just means we're hunkered down in the dark without electricity.

The joys of living in Indiana!

Sheesh.

Now just look at this! I might be shivering in the dark for three days and you can sit there and think about my bootie.

You will NEVER see a picture of my hiney on the open Internet. At least I hope you never do.

GAWD I hope you never do.
