Hey Kerry, drop us a post just as soon as you finish Chapter 12 and let us know how you liked it. I'm sure you will like it, but Chapter 12 is a very serious (for lack of a better word) chapter. We find out more about Ortiz in chapter 12. We also find out the depth of Hinestroza's cruelty.

I'll stop now because I don't want to post any spoilers. But let us know how you liked it, okay?

I have just finished reading Chapters 12-14, David, and am looking forward to reading more, later this evening. Must scoot along for tea right now, but will certainly be posting more later. There were lots of memorable quotes in those chapters, and the heart-thumping tension created by Amy in Chapter 14 was palpable! When "you know who" was shot (I'm being conscious of spoilers, folks!), I literally yelled "Hooray!" out loud. Actually, I'm being polite there, what I think I actually yelled was, "Fuckin' Beauty!" which is Australian for "Yipee!"

Sounds like an excellent idea to me, Melissa. We may be able to get a little group together. It would be very exciting if Amy could join in. Alas, timing may prove a problem, as I live at the opposite end of the earth from all the rest of you! I'm usually asleep while you're all awake, and vice versa. And I have no experience of chat-rooms, so it will be a learning curve for me. Having said all that, however, I'm sure something can be sorted out LOL.  :)

If you just let us know as soon as you finished reading the story, then I will try to find the right date and time for it.

I've just finished reading Chapter 14, Melissa. Have I got long to go?  :)

hey David,

Who's that in your avatar? I've been looking at it trying to figure it out, but I can't!
