Sorry I haven't posted my story yet everyone! I still plan to, but things have been a little crazy around here recently.

I haven't forgotten about it though, and hopefully I will have my story online in my blog within a few days.


In other news.....

I can't believe how quiet it is around here. I guess people are cooling their heels in Canada right now. I wish I was up there with them. I hope they are having fun.  :D

Hey, David....did you see that story about the little chihauhas dog...that saved the baby from a rattlesnake!!??

that little Taco Bell kinda dog was only 5 pounds but he fought off that rattlesnake...and got bit!

He is ok though.

pretty brave huh? Guess it is true what they say.."It is not the size of the dog in the fight, it is the size of the fight in the dog"

I saw that on CNN today! Brave little dog isn't he??

I almost stepped on a rattle snake hiking through a cypress swamp last year. Suddenly I heard a "ch-ch-ch-chhhhh" sound, I looked down toward the ground and I said "oh shit". He was coiled up just about 2 feet away from me ready to strike. People don't realize we have rattlers in Indiana, but we do. We have copper heads and water moccasins too.  :P

You were very lucky...how did you keep it from striking?

Well, I'm sure if I had taken one more step he would have stiked. I guess I heard him in time. I just backed up slowly. He didn't move though. WE DID!!  :laugh:  :laugh:
