oh it is just one of those phrases that can be used for a variety of things...if someone is cheap you say "Ennis is tighter than Tom's hat" or if a jar is too hard to open "This lid is tighter than Toms hat"

like my phrase "Good Lort night a livin' " you can use it for a bunch of stuff!

I tried to look it up, but I am not going to post what I found. I did not find the one about Tom although I suppose the other ones have something to do with the same basic idea.

Jess, leave David alone. He obviously loves the holidays (as I do) and just can't wait to wish everyone the best. Could be more of that around these parts, if I may. And do you feel better now that you shopped and obviously indulged (in chocolate perhaps), or did you simply dine at Olive Garden??
