Not to go OT, but what did you say on it? I'd hate to buy one early, then 20 years later think
"Oh how cheesy of me!"
It just has my name and birth date, with a "Praying Hands" motif in the upper left corner. And, of course, space to add the date of my death.
The stone is already in place in the family plot. When my mom and dad bought the plot, they went ahead and bought the headstone, so it was already in place when my mother died unexpectedly in 1995. They chose a "Praying Hands" motif, so I went with the same idea to complement the headstone. The headstone is a typical, vertical stone, but by the rules of the cemetery, my stone is horizontal, flush with the ground level. Unfortunately, I couldn't get "Hands" for my stone that point in the same direction as the "Hands" on the headstone, but at least the design stays with the same motif.
