I beat the bot, too. And, as usual, it offered nonsensical advice on a word that "would have been more efficient": LAPSE, which is what the bot guessed. So it thinks I would have been better off guessing a word with one green square that required two more guesses, over a word with two green squares that got the answer on the next guess. And it rated my skill as 77 compared to the NYT avg. skill of 84.

I cannot follow its logic. Is the system malfunctioning? Or does it just think it's so smart everyone should do whatever it does? Or ...?
