The blue was absolutely pure guessing, even now that I know what they are I have no idea what they look like. Except  Kinder egg, we have them here too.

Lee, if you don't mind a messy bathtub there's a fun thing you can do with the actual egg inside the chocolate. I mean your grandkids of course. You fill one half of the egg with baking powder and the other half with water, quickly put them together at drop them in the bathtub. Within a few seconds the egg will explode and you have baking powder all over the tub!  My son sometimes did that, but I don't think he's introduced it to his children though

I used a simpler variation of Paul's trick -- that is, I couldn't narrow the second word down at all so I picked a word with completely different letters hoping they'd provide clues, which they did.

I just had to start wildly guessing, simply to find out the answer. The blue and purple are certainly legit categories, but IMO a couple of the words in each, especially the blue, are kind of obscure.
