Yes, I agree. I keep wonderin about all the containers in Ennis and Alma's apartment and rundown ranch houses. Do you suppose somebody who knows Feng Shui was in the props department on this movie? And what is the Feng Shui of empty containers anyway? Celeste, can you help us out here?

Back to horses...I noticed that when Jack talks to Lureen about gettin a tutor for Bobby, there is a pencil holder with more than one letter openers in it, with horse heads on top. I noticed that because I have one of those letter openers. Jack is associated with knives, I think.

In this discussion of the still lifes, we never got around to talking about the still life of the Twist house, so I'm glad chowhound has brought it up.
