This was the "tattooed Scottish" man I was looking for. Turns out Daniel Cartier's American, not Scottish. I don't know where I got the idea he was Scottish. The kids have two cousins coming over today and staying into the new year. On the other side two of my kids (well, daughter and her BF) will be going out, partying, on New Year's Eve. So this leaves us with the regular number of kids, only different line-up, lol.

We're going to stay at home with self-made pizza and board games. :)

Yep, Stromboli is pizza in a different form. I looked for recipes and pictures to get a better idea and it's pretty much the same as Calzone. Maybe I'll try this tonight with my part of dough. If so, I'll think of you and take pictures.

And we have new plans for the afternoon. We'll go bowling, if the bowling alley is open today. 8)

Is anybody watching Dinner for One (I think that's what it's called?)? Isn't that a tradition for some folks?

I'm having lasagna for supper. Then I'll listen to old records of the Vienna Philharmonic, and then clean up and dress up and go out and try not to get too drunk because I don't want to wake up sick tomorrow morning.

It is the same procedur last year. My aunt and uncle arrange for a three dinner course for mum and me. This year the main course will be potato gratin with fillet of beef.
