oh, this reminds me... oh CASTING DIRECTOR...

We need a Jerry Lamont!  All we require is "tall, with a slender, long-fingered hand."

The tall man, who had already dipped his olive in his martini six or seven times as he contemplated drinking it, picked up his glass and took the comment as an invitation to join him.  “Name’s Lamont.  Jerry Lamont,”  and held out a slender, long-fingered hand.

Well, that's not much to go on!  ::)  ;D

that's my point, June... gives the Casting Director more leeway.

SPOILER:   Chapter 10 !

"This coat would make winter a lot more bearable. All because he had fallen in love with Nick."

Oooo!   The first time Jeremy uses the L-word?   But we haven't read where he realizes this, or better yet, when he declares it to Nicky.   :)

oh that David, he's a sly one!

catches every "L" word I slip in there doesn't he?  clever, very very clever.

I am not having a great day today, folks, I'm afraid. I woke up this morning bright and way too early to wait for the internet guy who didn't come, didn't call, didn't nothin.

I tried to contact my landlord, and his wife told me "try the other number" and then hung up on me, and I can't find the other number and tried her back and she isn't picking up the phone.

And I called my doctor for more ketoprofen since I used up all of mine in my move and my knees do not like me today, and it's Wednesday and everyone in Deutschland knows what that means... no doctors or pharmacies on Wednesday afternoons.  Little things us Americans routinely forget.

So I am trying to make do with pain pills, which doesnt help mobility, just gets me through the time till I can get the dang arhritis pills... if only I could find that secret cache of over the counter ketoprofen from America where they sell it for ten times the price but at least you don't need a prescription.  sigh...

Those stairs out to the car seem to be a long way down.

Oh, gosh, Louise - I'm sorry to hear of the bad morning you're having.  Thanks so much for the great chapter!

SPOILER

That's a great picture, David.  Thanks!  And speaking of pictures:

“I haven’t lost my ability ta take pictures ya know, Momma, I just haven’t had the opportunity. That reminds me… my camera an lenses are all here, I should probably take em.”

I can't think of a better photographic subject for Nicky than his Sweet Thing, can you?   ;D

And, yes, Louise, we're dying to hear the L-word make the journey from Jeremy's mind out through those beautiful lips!

Thanks - Marie

oww, Louise, that doesn't sound good  :(

I hope those pain pills will make you feel a bit better. I had no idea you couldn't get to a doctor or pharmacy on Wednesday afternoon in Germany! I knew shop opening hours are bad, but this is ridiculous.

And that internet guy needs a kick in the $&!!%%  >:(
