I Want To Know What Love Is - Wynonna

Allright, I've been fixin' for a long time now to put the Foreigner version on.  Hmmm, Wynonna Judd or Foreigner?  What do you guys think?

Did I also say most anything by Celine Dion, of course the one from Titanic "My Heart Will Go On" and "A New Day Has Come" and "Because You Loved Me"

We had Celine on the radio station before, and she was shot down, no, she was tied to a wall and pummelled with rocks!  Somehow Brokeback and Celine didn't go together from the listeners that gave feedback..

Is Dolly Parton's "I Will Always Love You" on the playlist?

I've toy'd with putting this on, but I'm fearful people always associate this song with Whitney now.  What do you guys think?

Céline gets lotsa regular air play. I'd shoot her down in a NewYork minute.

Same problem with Dolly's "I Will Always Love You" - sounds WAY too whinny (not a typo!)

With regards ta the Foreigner #1 hit single - try it - don't know Wynonna's version, so I can't comment

Ok, I just spend 13 hours (yes, from 9am-10pm, all day) updating the radio station.  Yippee.  I need to go get some exercise now.

More suggestions hun? well, Since "Bookends" by Simon & Garfunkel is so successful, maybe it's time to look again at my most favourite of all Simon & Garfunkel songs "The Boxer" 

Also a couple a Olivia Newton-John offerings: "Please Mr. Please" and "Have You Never Been Mellow" - may not be for the lyrics, but for the mood - and that line "Have you never let someone else be strong" always still gets to me.

Well you do have a lot more room, and for the last two months you've been adding mostry country songs, so I thought I'd try easy listening suggestions instead.

I would have to vote no for Celine and Dolly!
I love the lyrics of I Will Always Love You but I agree withthe Sheriff!
As far as Foreigner or Wynonna, I think Wynonna would be a better fit but I think thats just the kesser of two evils.
IMHO, I like the feel of the station now (country and instumentals) I think putting in pop or easylistening type of music would change the feel too much.
 But, thats just me.
