Vladimir Putin . . . is it just me?

Wow, I didn't know about that, Bucky. Fancy George saying of Vladimir, "I gazed into his eyes and could see his soul." That certainly is very highly-charged, emotive language for one man to use, when describing another man. I mean, the word "gazed" alone has all sorts of sizzling, romantic connotations, don't you feel? That quote really does blow me away! Thanks for your post! :D
I rather like this cute picture taken when Vladimir visited the White House on 16 Sept 2005. I think George might be gazing into those beautiful azure-blue eyes again!
And I simply adore this happy-snap of Vladimir and George, larking about together, as only good mates can!
