Lee, i had no idea the Dinner Party was permanently installed at the Brooklyn Museum. I want to see it too. Let's see it together one day, when we have a New York gathering. I think I saw some of it years and years ago. I love the idea of it. I would also love to see Judy Chicago's birth project and Holocaust project someday. I did see her speak here in Seattle about 12 years ago, with slide show.
I grew up right in New York City and never went to Brooklyn or any of the other boroughs, except to go to the airport or through to get to Westchester or sumpn. My folks was Manhattanites. Sounds crazy to me now, but it was just comme il faut or sumpn back then.
