transmission??

That's right

Another 1 500$ fer that (and second hand parts at that!) added onto the other recommended works that was suggested (1 200$) and, not ta mention the offensively high insurance costs - decided ta junk the car.

I'll be usin the public transit in the immediate future - Knew I would eventually - fer the amount a use I get from the car - ain't worth it anymore.

Will be postin a few pics a the car in the "Great White North" thread, as I did earlier taday ...

Hunh? I thought you said you still had yer Escort! And you got the buyin of a new car wrong: don't expect I'll ever need ta own another car. And for the moment, I really can't legitamize ownin one again. Can always rent one fer trips, or special occasions.

No I'm gonna reduce my pollution a this world, and save money (if not time) and will prob'ly get healthier fer all the walkin I'll be doin instead. - *thinkin positive thoughts here*

no I traded in my Escort on a Focus....I could have SWORN you said you were thinking about replacing your car next year.

at least there is public transit where you live, down here there is none.

I don't think I want to walk the twenty miles to town... :P

I am glad you are working on staying positive there!! LOL>...it is true, as expensive as the insurance and all. renting one when you need it might be ok....

Don't tell anyone, but... I have no idea what it is either. Apparently Texans know what it is and enjoy it, so do try it when you travel down Texas way.
