pretty slow actually...we coulda got done an hour sooner if people hadn't been arguing with each other. There was a contraversial call and the announcer and the sign up lady threw a fit. I told them both-we are getting paid to announce and keep score and sign people up....what difference does it make what the judges decide? but no...they kept on til the directors stopped the thing and had a meeting in the office with them.

I guess they didn't get that the longer we were there the less we got paid per hour!

Well 175$ doesn't sound all that bad, even if you lost an hour towards the end of the day
Did you get much weedin done in yer garden this weekend? I count how many dandelions plants I pull out from the lawn daily - try fer 25 each time - did 100 yesterday!

not a lot of weeding. I have started cutting the turnip greens down to the roots. something got into them and ate them up. I salvaged some but most got thrown away. that took more than an hour...and I still gotta finish them...then I am gonna put down some more sevin dust.
