it is raining here too...but that isn't news...it has rained the last month!

You sure are taking advantage of a mid week holiday! Did the boys do your chores this morning? Eating outa cans cause no one prepared breakfast? Or are the critters doin without? :laugh: with everyone (execeptin Don, of course,) sleepin in.
Wasn't a lot a rain, but I still didn't have to go out to water the plants.
Instead I went for a walk/run (something I managed to do regularly last summer) and took a few more pictures (I was down to my last one) including another unusual daylily!

oh all those boys got up all chipper and went out to work like it was a treat! :P
then they went to town for breakfast so....I slept IN!

That sounds wonderful - ev'ryone's doin what they want, not impeding on the other - nice way ta share a holiday.
