Sheriff Roland:
Near 50% (which is only slightly less than Babelfish  )
Mahlzeit, Sheriff!
(first word not french) (??), Sheriff! It's very quiet here tonight, don't you think?
Ouai. Il y a des soirs ou persone n'a rien à dire. Qui de neuf chez toi Fritz?
Yup. Some evenings seems like no one's got much to say. What's new with you Fritz?
Nuthin, it's quiet here. And yer supper tonight, The pâté chinois, how'd it go?
As usual, my pâté chinois melted in the mouth (it's the most popular French-Canadian dish, you know!) I wanted ta invite the neighbours ta taste it but I was too late (they'd already started preparing their supper). But Bryan accepted and stayed fer supper. We both worked in the yard (he more than I) and it was a pleasant visit.
Very well, Sheriff! And now I gotta go ta bed, cause I'm tired. Stayed up too late last night. See ya tomorrow!

Sheriff Roland:
Good mornin BetterMostians
Been a cool night here in the north, however temperatures are going to get back to normal, mid 20's (mid 70F's) with only a slight chance a rain (30% chance yesterday translated into roughly 5 drops per square feet) so I'll be watering the flowerbeds.
Bryan dug out most of the yellow iris yesterday and took about 10 away for friends - leaving me with only about - 60!!! I've almost finished preparing the border around the first flowerbed (we're still dicussing what to put in there).
Pretty sure at least one more daylily will show up today (and yet another unposted lily made an appearance yesterday).
9 days away from the start of my Alberta pilgramage.
