Hey folks

Near 4 am here -

Thought I'd drop in & give y'all an update.

Sunday ... Daniel will be takng mom yo chuch this morning, then in the afternoon, I'm taking her out to the Star Lake (check out the first 20 pics of "My Great White North" - pics I took last year), where Claudette has again camped out at the 'Rod & Gun'. Wonder if she'll be up to stay with us until the planned 9:00 pm return time... There'll be plenty a folks (Daniel, Claudette and Dominique) who will know how to fulfill her needs - but she'll 'talk' and react more to me (I can make her laugh).

2 more days & we're on our way (Daniel, Denyse, Gabrielle and me) back to Toronto.

I can't believe I was up at 7:30am on a Sunday.  I was hopin' to sleep in.  Oh well.

I am so glad you are having a good visit with your mom. Sounds like ya'll have a full day planned for her!

Sheriff Roland:
Not the whole day - just the afternoon. Daniel informed me this morning that they haven't taken her to mass since she's been hospitalised (another one of her dillusions.) Last time she got out was when André (another brother, from Montréal), took her out to go to a rather fun (by Daniel & family's recollection) gathering at Claudette's in June. Well Claudette's done the arangements for this gathering too, though Daniel will help me get Mom out (he's the only one who appears to know how to get the wheelchair in the car.) By what I've heard so far, She's been more responsive with me that with anyone else ... even Gabrielle says Mom's been something of a zombie (unresponsive) in a long while.

Have you and your mother always had a closer relationship than the others?

And I asked yesterday....you had already left...do you look a lot like your dad?
